Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our goal is to make your experience fun, easy, and memorable, but not more memorable than the rest of your day. Upon booking we will start having meetings discussing various questionnaires that will give us insight into your wedding day, and more information about you. We aim to not only prepare ourselves, but also prepare you two for your perfect day.

    Then on your wedding day we will be there by your side to help make sure the day goes smoothly, and that you can live in the moment instead of worrying about anything else.

  • Our aim is to always deliver photos within 8-10 weeks of your wedding day, and films within 12-16 weeks. In our experience though this time can vary a bit depending on the season and our current volume of projects.

    But we will always maintain consistent and clear communication on the status of your gallery and any other deliverables you are expecting.

  • We generally don’t offer an exact number of photos because every wedding is different, and every couple is different. But we usually estimate between 50 to 100 photos for every hour of coverage.

    If you want more photos than we end up delivering then we can discuss delivering more.

  • We offer a variety of collections with different amounts of final films. Every ceremony, vows, toasts, and dances films will be the length of time that those events took in real time. Highlight reels’ length are based on the hours of coverage we are with you for. Our trailers are 30 seconds to 1 minute long. And our feature length films are anywhere between 45 to 90 minutes.

  • Although we primarily shoot all photos on digital cameras, upon request we can include film photography as part of your collection.

  • Currently our team is based in New York City, and our local service area is the Tristate Area and Long Island, but we are willing and excited to travel all over for weddings. Contact us for more details.

  • In order for us to put your date on our calendar, we require a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of 50%.

  • We do, and we are happy to present a certificate to any venue or vendors that request one.

  • All of our photography collections offer the ability to have 1 photographer, but we also have the option to add more photographers. Although fully capable to photograph your wedding as an individual photographer, we recommend one photographer for roughly every 75 guests in attendance. This ensures that you not only end up with more photos of you as a couple, but as many of your guests as possible end up in your photos as well.

  • Our background is in story telling. And we love to tell unique stories that we haven’t told before. We pride ourselves on working with couples of all races, religions, cultures, ethnicities, sexualities, gender-identities, bodies, and abilities.

  • At the moment all of our team members are exclusively Sony users. But whether for photo or video we come with the best equipment for the job.

    For photography our crew comes with multiple cameras, and a variety of lenses to help capture your day from the best perspectives in the moment.

    For video, our crew come with multiple cameras, a movie-set’s worth of audio equipment, professional lighting for the reception, and a drone if requested and the weather permits.

  • Although the majority of our experience is with weddings, we are passionate about telling just about any story that is out there.
